Durfee’s Stand at Tuscarora Dairy

The Durfee Family has farmed in Chittenango since 1945. Today the family milks 900 Holstein dairy cows, grows their feed and also grows and sells vegetables at their roadside stand. Hayride tours of the farm will run every half hour while the cows are being milked – from 11am to 2:30pm. The roadside stand will be open from 10am to 6pm. A calf petting zone and play area for small children will also be provided.

3 Brothers Hops

We are a 34 acre farm. 5 acres of hops with 21 varieties. We have a processing physicality on site. We will be giving tours on varieties of hops and how the hops are harvested.

Salt City Harvest Farm

Salt City Harvest Farm (SCHF) is a community farm with a great variety of produce grown by New American refugee farmers. Here you will find tomatoes next to Asian long beans, or watermelon next to bitter melon or a great variety of chili peppers all of which reflect the cultural heritage of groups from Bhutan, Congo, Somalia, Ertrea and Burma who now are part of the New American community. The farm provides training for New Americans to develop their own farm operation. There is also an orchard and small vineyard to stroll through.

Sterle Farm

Sterle Farm is a first generation dairy farm located between Eaton and West Eaton, NY. We milk 65 cows, mostly Holstein’s with a few Brown Swiss. During the fall we sell pumpkins roadside. Join us on Open Farm Day to see how our dairy farm operates. Pet a calf, enjoy samples of nutritious dairy products, and participate in a scavenger hunt!

Creekside Meadows Farm

Creekside Meadows Farm is a family and veteran owned and operated, diversified, 150 acre farm near DeRuyter Reservoir. Grassfed meats and chemical free veggies, herbs, flowers, popcorn and maple syrup are all from the farm and for sale at our farmstand. Tour the animals grazing in the pasture, vegetable gardens and the sugar shack. We also have our own sawmill, woodworking shop using our own timber (wood items for sale too), blacksmith demonstrations, antique Ireland Drag Saw with rare Detroit Sandow engine and antique tractors and tools on display. Huftalen Farms is a 4th generation small, local organic dairy farm. We are passionate about soil health, sustainability, animal health and community. We are located five miles outside of Cazenovia, NY in Erieville. Sitting on 150 acres, we produce milk for Organic Valley, pasture eggs, beef, and chicken for the public. Hartwood Farm

Hartwood Farm grows delicious certified organic vegetables for CSA shares and the Cazenovia Farmers’ Market. Our farm includes a beautiful mix of hay fields, woodlands, wetlands, a pond, and pretty much every vegetable that grows in upstate NY (and quite a few that you might be surprised grow here)! Stop by to join a walking tour of the crop fields (offered on the hour), check out our greenhouses, learn about growing vegetables in upstate NY, and enjoy the frolicking pigs. Open Farm Day visitors can also shop at out pop-up farm stand or purchase u-pick flowers bouquets to brighten your home!

Our Farm

Our Farm, an award winning agritourism destination, welcomes you to an array of activities. Please sample our rhubarb sauces. We’re also selling ice cream sundaes. Sherman (the donkey), Cody and Trixie (the horses) are thrilled to meet you AND Boris the giant catapult (trebuchet) , is launching watermelons every hour on the hour., starting at 11:00AM. We will be here to answer questions about our 10kW solar power system.  To complete the visit, view over 50 varieties of perennials in bloom in our beautiful flower gardens.
