Silly Goats Farm
Silly Goats Farm is home to Silly Goats Soap Company where we make handmade, natural goat milk soap, lotions, liquid soap and bath bomb using pure goat milk from our herd of registered Lamancha Goats. As well as other natural skin are products like herbal bug repellent, salves, lip balms, etc. We have just finished building a new walk-in, milk parlor, show room and manufacturing facility to help improve our production for our growing business. Come by and visit this spring’s baby goats, see our new facility and learn what we are doing on our little slice of heaven called Silly Goats Farm.

Brownson Family Farm
Brownson Family Farm is a small family run farm specializing in homegrown produce. Nestled on the fertile banks of the Chittenango Creek, our farm boasts delicious fruits and vegetables. At the farm we grow numerous greens including many types of lettuces, swiss chard, collard greens, kale and more. The tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, green beans, zucchini, yellow squash, beets all reap the rewards of our fertile soil. The sweet corn alone is worth the drive out to the farm. Glisson Country Store
Glisson’s operates on 60 acres of farm land which we try to use to benefit our community. For the past three years our Country Store has raised money and awareness for Adoption and Foster Care. This year, in partnership with DeRuyter’s FFA (Future Farmer’s of America) we’ve added a Community Garden. Our store features a variety of furniture, clothing, home de’cor, and home made breads and cookies. Our Open Farm Day is interactive! For the kids FFA students will have craft activities, our Drum Circle is open to all ages, and the store has bread and cookie samples. Adults can shop and enjoy live music featuring local artist John Schuster playing Americana Folk, Blues and Jazz on his guitar and harmonica.

Lucky Moon Farm
We have been farming here since 1992 and sell vegetables through our CSA, roadside stand and farmers markets. In addition to vegetables we produce maple syrup, cut flowers and hay. Our farming practices, designed to work with the environment, utilize cover crops, compost, natural mineral and rock powders and certified organic fertilizers to build the soil. We use NO chemical fertilizers, pesticides or insecticides. We feel we are not merely owners of this farm, but stewards given the task of leaving the land better than we found it.

Amberfields Morgans is a small family farm in the hamlet of North Brookfield. Amberfields raises family friendly old type Morgans in various rare and wonderful colors. Visitors here get to pet and interact with palomino, buckskin, grulla, dun and grey Morgans. Several foals are born here each spring and we look forward to showing these foals off and demonstrate foal handling techniques.

Vince and Julie Wagner, both 3rd generation dairy farmers, have been milking cows together since 1976. In 2008 they moved to Cazenovia where they grow food for and milk a herd of 80 Holstein cows (including a few red ones)! In 2013 Ju-Vindale Holsteins began offering raw milk to our community. Their raw milk is also used by Meadowood Farms to produce their cow-milk cheeses. Throughout the day join Julie, Vince and their farm staff for a farm tour and raw milk samples! 7 Trees Dairy is a fully functional goat dairy located in Perryville, NY. From our herd of Saanen goats we produce many cheeses in our cheese room. Our products include Aged cheeses, semi-hard cheeses, several versions of soft cheeses, feta, marinated feta, and a variety of cheese curds. Every spring we welcome dozens of kid goats which allows our milk production to begin. During the summer we are busy producing cheeses, attending farmers markets and caring for our goats. Critz Farms is a diversified agritourism farm located just south of Cazenovia. Just east of Chittenango Falls State Park, Empire Buffalo is home to a herd of more than 40 grass fed bison. Hawk Hollow Farm
The farm is 155 scenic acres that specializes in the breeding, raising, training and showing of the Hanoverian Horse, who originated in Germany. We continue to breed world class blood lines and have young stock and horses under saddle for sale. We also offer outside breeding services, mare and foal care, young horse raising and well as boarding and lessons. We currently offer our home grown organic hay for sale and in the future we will be offering Maple Syrup and beef from our own cattle. Welcome to our grass based dairy! We look forward to sharing with you all the benefits of grazing and what it takes to make the first rate milk that supplies Kriemhild Dairy Farms grass fed dairy products. Loomis Maple Homestead
Our family has produced maple syrup for over one hundred years and the tradition continues at our farm. Sap is collected from the trees with traditional buckets as well as a modern vacuum pipeline system. We recently completed an eco-friendly upgrade to our production facility, which includes a reverse osmosis system and a new evaporator, cutting our total energy consumption in half. In addition to maple syrup, we produce a variety of other maple products – candy, cream, jelly and granulated sugar. We sell homegrown beef by the half, quarter, and individual cuts, including hamburger with no additives. Come visit our sugarhouse where you can learn about making maple syrup!

Hermit Pond Farm
Hermit Pond Farm is home to 50-80 cashmere goats, a dozen cats, and one aging refugee from city life. The Hermit Pond goats are almost all black, with fine, crimpy fiber. They have earned a nice collection of ribbons from cashmere goat shows, and prize-winning bucks have been purchased to enrich the bloodlines. Located in Brookfield, Hermit Pond Farm is one of the oldest cashmere goat farms in the Northeast. Come and watch the antics of the 3-month-old kids, admire the handsome bucks, hold a bottle baby, and learn a bit about these amazing animals and their fiber.

The Haven at Skanda
Skanda’s goats, mini-donkeys, ducks, chickens, and horses are incredibly loving and gentle, and at Skanda they have a loving home where they can relax, live free from fear and emerge into who they really are. Families are welcome to enter the goat paddock, where you can play with the goats and feed them apple branches, their favorite treats! Snuggle with our miniature donkeys, who love to be brushed and groomed. The land of Skanda is beautiful and nurturing — take a hay ride through our hay field, past the hops grown by IPN hops or take a nature walk through our orchards and woods, or relax on a bench to watch the animals play. We will have farm fresh vegetables and vegan snacks available.

On our 225-acre farm we produce pasture-raised lamb and beef, and milk from our dairy sheep. We are also home to a herd of Belted Galloway cattle, some sheep-guarding Maremma dogs, and a flock of parasite-controlling hens! On Open Farm Day you can take a wagon tour of our farm (every hour), have lunch provided by Side Hill Farmers Meats & Market (all day), scratch our friendly sheep, feed our lambs (10:00), learn how to spin and felt our lambs’ wool (11:00), meet our beef cattle, watch our sheep being milked (1:00), and/or collect hens’ eggs (2:00).

Fruit of the Fungi
We are a small family mushroom farm located in rural Lebanon, NY. We grow Shiitake mushrooms in their most natural state; on hardwood logs. Guided tours will be offered of our yards, as well as our new indoor grow room. Learn where and how a mushroom is grown, as well as why fungus is important. Tours will be ongoing all day long. Johnston’s Honeybee Farm
Johnston’s Honeybee Farm is a 300 beehive operation that produces bees (nucs), queens, pollination services, honey (processed and raw), and pure beewax candles.
